Founder Amber Saldana is a credentialed teacher specializing in grades Kindergarten through sixth. She is a graduate of Chapman University’s Master of Arts in Teaching program, where she completed working classroom observations, student teaching, and one-on-one in-class work with several students as she wrote her thesis. She is an active substitute teacher in multiple Orange County districts and is trained in district-mandated reading and math programs. She has been exposed to the full spectrum of classroom and individual instruction, including work with Special Education students, English Language Learners, and children identified as Gifted and Talented. She holds very high expectations of herself as an educator and firmly believes that with individualized curriculum, every child has the potential to learn. Her can-do, positive attitude and enthusiasm is contagious to students and parents alike!
